The Monthly Artisans Craft Fair was set up in 2010 with the aim of providing Artisans throughout Ireland with a regular Monthly facility to exhibit, demonstrate and sell their products.
The Fair is held on the last Thursday of every month in the all weather Milk Market in Limerick which is located in the city centre, click here to visit the Milk Market website. Both the location and the profile of the Milk Market were key when choosing a venue for the Monthly Artisans Craft Fair.
The Milk Market was renovated in 2010 and is now one of the finest markets in Ireland being an all-weather, all year round market space, accommodating large markets, a new Food Pavilion and an overhead mezzanine where visitors can relax, dine or have a coffee whilst absorbing the ambience created by this ever evolving fair.
The Monthly Artisans Craft Fair echoes the European tradition of craft markets found in Spain, France and other European countries and has drawn artisans throughout the country to Limerick providing a unique opportunity for trained artisans to share their work with the public.
